CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!

yes that is the new john lewis christmas advert and that means one thing, christmas is definitely on it's way. hurray! i've loved the john lewis christmas adverts over the past fews years and after watching this with my sister, we watched all of them from 2007 to this year and found ourselves crying over the last few especially the 2011 advert ''the long wait". it is so sweet and i just watch it thinking that's exactly how i feel...hurry up christmas!

a family tradition of ours is to bake our christmas cake in october all together and make wishes as we stir the mixture whilst listening to christmas with nat & dean (the ultimate christmas album). that feeling of excitement when the first notes of 'the christmas song' play is literally the best feeling ever and right then i think, that's it. christmastime has begun.

although it is only the beginning of november and many people will think that it's way too early to start getting excited i have decided that it is never too early. this time leading up to christmas is one of my favourite time's of year, it's my favourite holiday and the build up is just so exciting so why cut it short? as soon as you see the first christmas advert, find a christmassy item for sale in a shop or hear a christmas song and you start to feel that little bit of excitement that only the magic of christmas can give you why not embrace it and let the excitement begin.

after all, it's the most wonderful time of the year!
